The stages
Is this ski-tour for you? The Graubünden Haute Route stays in four stunning huts and takes five days. You should have previous ski touring experience; comfortable in deep snow and can handle steeper sections on both the ascent and descent. You're adept at kick turns, and your physical fitness is sufficient for a four-hour ascent and up to 1,200 meters of elevation gain. Do you feel comfortable at a pace of approximately 300 meters per hour? Then nothing stands in your way of this ski traverse!
