Outline
On the recommendation of a guide friend I'm putting together a Heli-ski programme in Alaska for next winter with Pulseline Adventures https://pulselineadventure.com/alaska- heli-skiing/trip-details/
Bit of a change from my usual ski-touring trips but I have always wanted to ski the big powder mountains of Alaska and this opportunity is too good to miss! It's quite a high price trip but hey we’re talking Alaska and there's a reason why they make the steep powder skiing movies there!
Their blurb lists a number of reasons why you should choose them but I've picked out a key one in my opinion: "One of the key differences we have compared to other operators is that we max out at 3 groups per heli. Most will do 4 or even 5. We find that 3 is the best combination of lower wait times, efficient ability to move and reduced trips for fuel without passengers - yet at a more reasonable rate.”
